Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

You agree not to use the site to:

• Post, link to, or distribute ROMs, ISOs, emulators, or other pirated game files — including in league names, team names, descriptions, or any other user-generated field.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Upload malware, spam, or content that violates someone else's rights.
• Attempt to break into accounts, scrape private data, or disrupt the service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

You keep ownership of content you submit (league names, team info, uploaded game stats, etc.). By posting it on the site, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, display, and process that content so the service works — for example, showing standings, box scores, and league news to your league members.

You are responsible for what you post. Make sure you have the right to share anything you upload.

You can stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or delete your account if you break these terms, if we need to protect the service or other users, or if we shut the project down. Sections that should survive termination (like limitations of liability) still apply.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are a small hobby project, not a corporation with a legal department. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of stats, or that the service will meet your needs.

Dugout Superstars is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo. Mario Superstar Baseball is a trademark of Nintendo.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site — including lost data, lost league records, or downtime. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for most users today, is $0).

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local law requires otherwise.

We may update these terms as the site grows (for example, when payments launch). We will post the new version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
